We are looking for a quick and organized Line Cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications.


The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. You will be responsible for keeping food preparation areas clean, grilling, cooking, and frying foods, taking orders, serving dishes to customers, and ordering and stocking kitchen and food supplies. You should also be prepared to stand for long periods of time. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, time management and multi-tasking skills during busy periods. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.


Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food to customer specifications.

  • Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.

  • Grill, cook, and fry menu items with the support of the kitchen staff

  • Plan and manage work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time.

  • Assist with simple food preparation tasks

  • Completing orders from steam tables, plating the food, and serving to the customers

  • Rotate food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.

  • Clean food preparation equipment and areas and take care of leftovers.

  • Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.


Line Cook Job Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.

  • The ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently.

  • The ability to speak multiple languages would be advantageous.

  • Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and customer service skills.
